My mother and I have a home based family child care. We provide a safe, caring environment for children. In addition to raising three children, my mother worked with children for many years in the public schools. I worked with infants and toddlers for 9 years and worked with elementary school children in "6 to 6" before and after school programs for 4 years. I also taught parenting classes for 5 years. I have a B.A. in English Literature and an M.A. in Human Resources. I am currently taking Child Development classes at San Diego Community College and have 21 units. I plan to pursue a Masters degree in Early Childhood education. Infants to 6 year olds are served. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 8:00a.m.-6:00p.m. We have a large bright home with a large backyard in the Serra Mesa area which is 3 minutes from Children's hospital. Breakfast, lunch and two snacks are provided (parents provide formula and diapers). Please call for more information.
